Madre Vaca
Madre Vaca is a composer-led collective directed by Benjamin Shorstein that creates large-scale, narrative-driven works rooted in jazz and classical traditions. Each project explores a distinct sonic world, integrating improvisation, text, and formal composition into unified, genre-crossing forms. We met Madre Vaca to help with the wild improvisational surreal song-cycle "Tunnel to the Moon."
