Named among the top guitarists of the 21st century by @pastemagazine, Gunn is one of the most distinctive guitarists and songwriters working today. He has spent nearly two decades exploring the spaces between folk, psychedelia, jazz, ambient music and American experimental rock. Following a trio of acclaimed albums on Matador Records, Gunn released his seventh studio album, "Daylight Daylight", last year via No Quarter.

"Steve Gunn is managing the transition [into a classic singer-songwriter] with uncanny elegance, folding his old jamming imperative into beautifully constructed songs.” —Pitchfork

For one night, he’ll bring that music to a small room in a tennis club overlooking the Hudson.

We`re so proud to be working with @dacamera_editions, the in-house label of @dacamerahouston. Under Artistic Director/Executive Producer Sarah Rothenberg, the label is dedicated to disseminating the distinctive mix of new works, surprising juxtapositions, and diverse musical styles that have defined DACAMERA, the Houston-based presenter and producer of chamber music and jazz, for over 35 years.

We`ve just announced the third release for the label—Matthew Aucoin`s (@aucoincomposer) epic "Music for New Bodies." This premiere recording, which features @runningamoc and @sandbox_percussion, is out on October 30.

Please let us know if you have questions about the album, or the first two releases on DACAMERA Editions: Tyshawn Sorey`s (@dr.tyshawnsorey_official) "Monochromatic Light (Afterlife)," and Sarah Rothenberg`s "In Darkness and Light." Both albums are available on (beautiful) CD and digitally. 🎧
