Piano Music of Mike Garson

Pianist Danny Holt’s "Piano Music of Mike Garson" showcases the piano music and compositional technique of Mike Garson. Holt, whose playing has been described as virtuosic and gregarious in temperament by Gramophone, was awestruck by Garson’s music upon the first hearing. Garson is perhaps best known for his relationship with David Bowie, which began in 1972. After meeting in 2004, Garson came on to co-produce Holt’s 2009 Innova release "Fast Jump." The musicians share a voracious appetite for new music along with monster piano technique.
