Hearing It Getting Dark
"Hearing It Getting Dark" is the debut album of original music from composer Reinaldo Moya. The Venezuela-born and Minnesota-based composer was recently named the inaugural winner of the Ellis-Beauregard Foundation Composer Award. The record is comprised of four intimate chamber music works that take inspiration from bonsai trees, computer programming, and William Faulkner, among other things. The album features performances by the dynamic mixed chamber group Latitude 49, recent Grammy winners The Attacca Quartet, and the acclaimed and inquisitive violinist Francesca Anderegg.
