Majel Connery
Majel Connery is a powerhouse. She is a vocalist, composer, podcaster, and roving musicologist making electro-art-dream-pop with repressed classical influences. Her work has been called “superb” by the New York Times and “thoroughly Schubertian” by the Wall Street Journal. Majel tours with the NYC-based art-rock band Sky Creature, and hosts the podcast "A Music of Their Own" for CapRadio/NPR. Our work is focused on Majel's environmental song cycles, "The Rivers are our Brothers" (2022) and "Elderflora" (scheduled for spring 2024), which give the power of voice to elements in nature.
