Square Peg Round Hole Unveils Surprise EP – “Silo Songs”

Share this post:

Square Peg locked themselves away in a converted silo next to the Mark Twain National Forest, deep in the farmlands of Missouri. By limiting themselves to basic technology like iPhone microphones, laptop speakers, and software instruments, the band reached new levels of resourcefulness. The rhythmic soundscape incorporates samples from a fidget cube, disassembled Rhodes keyboard that was in the process of being repaired in between live dates, and a library of audio files from previous projects that were chopped and manipulated in new ways. The result is Silo Songs.
