On Monday, February 17, 7:30PM, Mirror Visions Ensemble (MVE) presents “The Disappearing Art of Letter Writing” at The Sheen Center for Thought and Culture in lower Manhattan. MVE has curated an exploration of the fading art of written communication through notes of love and vengeance, dire reports from the North Pole, and missives asking for money or forgiveness. The program begs the question: when pen is put to paper does the writer express more of herself? And, what have we lost in this era of over-flooded inboxes and emoji?
