Ken Thomson
Known for his work in the Bang on a Can All-Stars, Gutbucket and Slow/Fast, reed player and composer Ken Thomson has a unique voice blending a variety of styles. The Chicago Reader wrote that "few musicians travel as assuredly and meaningfully between jazz and new music as saxophonist Ken Thomson." It was a pleasure getting deeper into Thomson's music through our work on his project, "Sextet," out on New Focus Recordings.
