Matthew Evan Taylor

Composer and saxophonist Matthew Evan Taylor is a "risk taker" (Huffington Post) whose music is "insistent and defiant" (Lucid Culture). We met Taylor through our work with Metropolis Ensemble, who commissioned his self-described artistic-manifesto – "The Unheard Mixtapes." Out in five installments on New Amsterdam Records, the project takes listeners on a journey in which Taylor combines joy with creativity.
