Conor Hanick
Pianist Conor Hanick is regarded as one of his generation’s most inquisitive interpreters of music new and old. The New York Times describes his playing as having “technical refinement, color, crispness and wondrous variety of articulation.” A fierce advocate for the music of today, and “the soloist of choice for such thorny works,” Hanick has premiered over 200 pieces and collaborated with composers both emerging and iconic; among them, Pierre Boulez, Kaija Saariaho, Steve Reich, Tania León, Nico Muhly, Caroline Shaw, Tyshawn Sorey, and Christopher Cerrone. We're working with Conor on the March 2026 release of Hans Otte's "Book of Sounds" on Il Pirata Records.
