NYC’s longest-running early music series Music Before 1800 invites audiences back to the church for its 47th season. The series hosts six concerts in its long-time home-base (and acoustically superb) Corpus Christi Church. All concerts will stream a week after the live performance, along with a live virtual Q&A. On December 5, NYC’s own Juilliard415 kicks things off with music from the Italian Baroque. Violinist and music director of Tafelmusik, Elisa Citterio, joins the ensemble in her NYC debut. Citterio is widely acclaimed in baroque and modern styles, bringing an enthusiasm for contrast to music – similar in spirit to the great architecture and painting of the Italian baroque.
