Cellist Amanda Gookin has announced the third installment of her Forward Music Project, subtitled ‘fever dreams’ – an exploration of human consciousness, perceptions, and what we collectively believe to be “the truth.” Forward Music Project 3.0: fever dreams commissions six new multimedia works for solo cello with video/installation artist S. Katy Tucker creating a fully-immersive concert environment, reflecting the struggle between perception and reality. The project premieres in fall 2020, between the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment and the 2020 American Presidential election.
